Application of micro-electrolysis technology in industrial wastewater treatment

It is currently one of the most commonly used methods in industrial wastewater treatment technology. Additionally, iron-carbon microelectrolysis technology can effectively decompose pesticides, pharmaceuticals, dyes, polysilicon, fluorides, etc. in industrial wastewater, significantly reducing both the colority and organic matter concentration of the wastewater, thereby enhancing the removal efficiency of industrial wastewater.
Iron-carbon microelectrolysis, also known as internal electrolysis and zero-valent iron method, involves the formation of a galvanic cell from refined iron powder, graphite carbon powder, coke, and other inert carbons. It encompasses processes such as oxidation-reduction, electrode enrichment, physical adsorption, and flocculation sedimentation. Microelectrolysis technology utilizes the principle of metal corrosion to treat industrial wastewater by forming a galvanic cell. Under non-electrified conditions, it utilizes the high and low potential differences created by the microelectrolysis materials filled in the wastewater to achieve electrolytic treatment of the wastewater, thereby degrading organic pollutants.
